What's TFN?

TFN stands for 'The Friday Night' and it's where Kairos has it's weekly bible study meetings! Check out what we did this past Friday!

We met at Stamp Atrium and started off with a warm clam chowder dinner as we got to know little facts about each other through our m&m activity around the tables. Then we did a little ice breaker called Human Bingo where as tables, we picked out the best of the best of our team who fit into different categories - who can do a front/back flip, who can wiggle their ears, speak 3 languages conversationally, etc. We sure did learn a lot of interesting facts about one another...

Del then gave a message over Luke 19 where he talked about Zacchaeus the tax collector who got to meet Jesus. We learned of Zacchaeus' way of life as the chief tax collector during his time, making up for his short physical stature through exacting money from people around him and powering up in that way. We were touched by the fact that Jesus went out of the way to Jericho to meet someone like Zaccheaus and invite him into a new life even despite his sinful past.

After bible study, we headed over to Stanford house, where our ministry leads Del and Joyce live, and played some group board games. Laughter ensued as we watched various people try to act out different words through Guesstures.

You can't end the night without some good munchies... We had way too many assortments of desserts for our own good. (Apple dumplings are the bomb!)

Here's to a fun Friday night of studying the bible, food, and fellowship. :)
