WELCOME TO KAIROS!
kairos is a campus christian fellowship & ministry at university of maryland, college park
Throughout the week, we strive to live out the community described in Acts 2: doing life together, spending time in God's word and prayer, and growing in relationships with one another through a lot of food, fellowship, and fun. Whether you're a Christian who wants to grow in your faith, or someone simply curious about what Christianity is all about, we invite you to come join us!
WHAT IS KAIROS?
KAIROS IS GREEK FOR OPPORTUNE TIME
We believe college is the opportune time to explore the big questions of life like, “Does God exist?” and “What am I here for?” At Kairos, you’ll find a safe space to ask these questions alongside other college students.
11/18 Sun @ 4pm - Northwestern High school
This Sunday we'll be meeting at 4PM for a very special event: our Thanksgiving Celebration! We're going to look back on what God has done this past year with fun dance performances prepared by the students and staff. It will be at Northwestern High School, Hyattsville. Rides will be at Ellicott Hall (facing the stadium) or Prince Frederick (alley side) at 3:30 PM.
11/16 Fri @ 7PM
We are meeting this Wednesday for open prayer time at Memorial Chapel at 9pm if you want to have a time of connecting with God. :)
This Friday, all of us will be getting together for our TFN Bible study! We'll have live worship music, a message, and do something fun together afterwards. It will be at 7pm this Friday 11/16, at Jimenez Room inside STAMP.
